In the beginning
Tess Electrical Mechanical Ltd was founded in 2010, operating from a small office and supporting a handful of customers with their procurement requirements. From the very beginning, our focus was simple – provide exceptional service, build strong relationships and help businesses source the products they need.

After spending 15 years in the electrical and mechanical wholesale sector, Simon founded Tess in 2010 with just two staff, a single office and a hired van. Built on exceptional customer service and commitment, the business has grown into its own commercial premises with a dedicated team of eight. Simon continues to thrive on the challenges and opportunities each day brings.

Tina Thompson
Following a career in media credit management, Tina balanced family life with supporting the financial side of Tess behind the scenes. As the business continued to grow, she joined the company full-time in 2016 and now oversees finance, HR and much more. Tina plays a vital role in keeping the business running smoothly every day.
